Data Deletion Instructions

How to request deletion of your data
The Batter’s Box of Sunbury respects your right to control your personal data. If you would like us to delete personal information we have collected about you, you can submit a request using any of the methods below:
Option 1: Email request
Send an email to sunburybattersbox@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- A description of the data you want deleted
Option 2: In-person request
Visit The Batter’s Box of Sunbury at 9821 OH-37, Sunbury, OH 43074 and speak with a staff member.
What data can be deleted
- Account and membership information
- Booking and reservation history
- Contact information (name, email, phone)
- SMS opt-in records and message history
- Any data collected through our Facebook/Instagram integration related to your interactions
What we may need to retain
We may retain certain information as required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax purposes) or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., resolving disputes, enforcing agreements). We will inform you if any data cannot be deleted and explain why.
Processing time
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you.
Facebook and Instagram data
Our BattersBox Social Manager Facebook App does not collect or store personal data from Facebook or Instagram users. It is used solely to publish content to our own business Page and read our own engagement metrics. If you believe we have collected data about you through Facebook, you can also submit a deletion request through Facebook’s settings at Facebook Data Deletion Request.
